Jambalaya 6&7: Two Thoughts for Your Crown…

#6

Our opinions are two sides of the same coin
Neither of us knows who is in the writ and in the wrong
Till the money is spent

It doesn’t matter anyway
Because we all turn to dust again in the end.

#7
All it took for a caveman to become an Emperor
Was for him to kill and demean his fellow man for a thorny crown.
Heavy that burden must have been.

Un Balance

Among the hands of reasoning
there are two souls entranced.

One by the movement of the void’s black
where he has found his comfort and solace in his form.

The other to the night
where he has found his madness

the ever-present beating of his heart echoing a storm through his consciousness
he expects no mercy and accepts no guide.

A strange melody of dissonance
Between what is seen and whom is lost

A visionary is claimed unlevel
As the unraveled man’s temper is quelled only by his own fear.

The Un-Named Musings #001

For what is a man a symbol
In relation to his humanity
Is he a representative of grace, power, authority?
Are his ideals truly his own property?
What if man were more than merely a musing form?

What if one could be a collection of all memory, inherently.
If we recognized this could we then move forward?
Away from a spiral of chaotic indecision.
Or would ego serve to blind us of this realization.
We could be such a wise race if not for pride.
